90-minute Sports Therapy

Service Description

Our Sports Therapy is a targeted treatment approach focusing on specific muscle regions that are in need of rehabilitation. While a posture analysis is the first step to improving posture and strengthening your muscles. It is a process of analyzing your balance, alignment, asymmetries and motion. The analysis may include assessing your spine, way of walking, standing, muscle strength and functional movement. In many cases, these poor postures can often result in muscle tightness, joint stiffness and an increase in pain. Within a sporting context, people often think that a sports therapy is only for the athletes who participate in sports. Although the name implies a sporting clientele, sports therapy is not limited to athletes and the treatment appropriate to all. It can be applied in a sporting and non-sporting context. Sports therapy is a deep form of soft tissue mobilization to treat injuries or injuries that are long-term as a result of over training, trauma, muscle imbalance, or biomechanics, which aims to aid recovery, reduce the risk of recurrence, and increase range of motion. The common techniques we use in Sports Therapy include: Myofascial Release Active Release Technique (ART)-Pin and Stretch Passive Assisted Stretching Trigger Point Wringing Effleurage. Please note: 1.We accept Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, Apple Pay and additional 3% credit card processing fee for any card payment including HSA account. 2.$120/per hour is cash price only. $132/per hour with 10.1% sales tax. 3. Your hand-on service time is 53 MINUTES during this session. 4. As a reminder, we require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment to avoid $35 cancelation fee.
